We recently had the local vocational school build us a window box stand to create more privacy on our patio. We used 4 24″ plastic boxes purchased from Hooks and Lattice. The stand was actually built to hold the window boxes. Window boxes are a perfect fit–sturdy and durable. They are planted with petunia, red Irish ivy, spikes, lantana, daisies and sweet potato vine.

This window box was hand built. It is approximately 1 foot deep and 18 feet long. It is the perfect way to bring summer flowers off this small deck that overhangs into the back yard.
